National Treasurer - THOMAS P. MUTUSE

Since the current  GNCA leadership took over in late 1999 and had their mandate renewed again in 2005 the church has seen a lot of progress.
Money in the central kitty was collected and spend in a transparent manner enabling the team to construct an office, Bishop’s residence in Nairobi and a car, facilities that were non existent in the church even though very essential.
Church Management improved and the faithfuls gained confidence with the leadership and this provided an enabling environment to open churches in Tanzania and Uganda even though the Uganda branch at Namayemba in Bugiri District was closed due to logistical reasons.
Good News Church of Africa is truly going to establish itself in Africa through God’s grace.
We have 18 Regions and nearly four hundred churches stretching from the coast to the interior and highlands of the Rift Valley, Eldoret region and now moving to the East African Region.
Many of the churches are situated in semi-arid lands of ukambani where drought is very persistent hence low income from the faithfuls.
Many Church projects are slow in taking off because of drought.
There are very many orphaned children of school going age who find it difficult to go to school because of lack of parental care and however hard the churches try to initiate compassion projects to assist the needy, the projects barely kick of.
There is also evangelism work and a Mission Board charged with responsibilities of evangelizing both locally and internationally currently with volunteer participants. A major obstacle has been transport because the team has to hire transport even though there are arrangements to purchase a Mission Van.
We have various boards, i.e. Education Board, Music Board, Mission Board, Planning and development Boards. Each is charged with a mandate to carry out its activities reporting to the appointing authority.
We also have a trust board that oversees the GNCA/GFBC Trust board that took over from the GFF Missionaries in Nairobi at Eastleigh. The Eastleigh property was demolished by developers and there has been  protracted court cases that are still ongoing with a hope of getting justice one day. Thanks to Rev. Busch the head of GFF Mission who entrusted the property to this Trust Board.
We wish to invite partners whom we share the same doctrinal stand to come to assist in God’s work.
May the Lord reward you accordingly. Revelation  22:12
